Marsh is a founder of Neulogic, where his primary role is to lead the organization's efforts in product and market strateg.
He has been our leader in working with nonprofit market segments, inclu ding activities with local community foundations and to serve as the CEO (Chief Evangelical Officer) for Web-publishing solutions and their application within communities of interest.Marsh possesses a deep and unique combination of business, sales and technical skills.
Since 1985, he has developed profitable service and product-based businesses for Elsevier Science Publishing, Metatec Corporation, and Mills/James Productions. With a background in electronic media production and distribution that goes from broadcast, to interactive television, to CD-ROM publishing and now the Internet, he has extensive knowledge about both process and application of technology in solving communications problems.
At Metatec Corporation he was a leader in the creation of NautilusCD the first CD-ROM based consumer magazine. As the founder of Mills/James' New Media department, he developed one of the finest interactive teams in the country and led the departmental sales efforts to 100% growth per year.Marsh is familiar with all aspects of major account acquisition and management.
He has successfully developed and managed relationships with many organizations including Community Foundations of America, Barnes & Noble, Franklin Covey, Apple Computer, Lucent Technologies, Caterpillar, Inc. and Procter & Gamble.
Marty is a founder of Neulogic and leads the conception, design and development of the company's Neuance™ website management environment. Marty also plays leading role in the delivery of Neuance-related strategic planning and design services for Neulogic’s tier 1 clients. Marty draws on over a decade of experience in interactive strategy and design for a range of nonprofit and for-profit clients such as The Cleveland Foundation, Community Foundations of America, Harcourt-Brace College, Abbott Laboratories, Barnes & Noble, BP/Amoco and Lucent Technologies.
Formerly, as creative director, first for Metatec New Media and then for Mills/James Interactive, Marty led teams of specialists in human factors, information architecture, graphic interface and motion media design. Under Marty’s purview, Metatec’s groundbreaking NautilusCD evolved into branded publishing vehicles for CompuServe, IDG, Harcourt-Brace, Novell Press and Southwestern Publishing. From the mid 1980s until the new media wave, Marty produced award-winning 'old' media projects for clients such as Borden, Macola Software, Honda and dozens of national political campaigns.
Alex is responsible for all day-to-day operations within Neulogic with regard to successful delivery of our products and services.
Alex’s leadership roles in technology-oriented software and services businesses have earned him recognition from a variety of sources over his 25 year career. The recognitions range from a PCWeek Cover article as one of the “New Breed” innovative, creative CIO’s to a “Forty Under 40” award by Business First Magazine of Columbus, Ohio. This honor is awarded to the top forty business people under the age of 40 who are active both professionally and in the community.
Throughout his career he has held a variety of leadership roles in sales, large account management, business development, product management, ISO 9000 quality management, professional services, client services, and information technology. Mr. Deak served on as CTO of ECNext, an internet search and e-commerce services company serving business information publishers. He served as the vice president and chief information officer of Metatec International, where he was a member of Metatec’s Executive Operations Team. His recent executive responsibilities include Professional Services at Aelita Software where he established and grew a profitable services organization and Business Development at ImageArray where he established client and supply chain relationships for this emerging company in the electronic merchandising industry.
As shown by the Business First award for people active both professionally and in the community, Mr. Deak’s involvement includes being Chairman of the Board of Trustees of CIVIC, which provides information management services to the nonprofit community in Columbus.
He is also active in several church ministries.. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA, both from the University of Dayton. Alex and Lisa Deak live in Granville, Ohio with their five children.
